SUN TRACING SOLAR PANEL IN TWO AXIS USING ARDUINO AND SERVO MOTORS
The variation in the solar energy occur daily due to variation in day night cycle and also because of seasonal variations through out the year. Population of the world is increasing very rapidly. From past decade of years the non renewable energy sources like coal and oil are extinguishing and so it become serious problem for providing he reliable energy to the world. But solar energy plays important source of primary energy. In this project we propose dual axis solar tracking system by which it is possible to catch maximum amount of solar energy by using Arduino as main processing unit.

SUN TRACKING SOLAR PANEL
This project employs a solar panel mounted to a time-programmed stepper motor to track the sun so that maximum sun light is made incident upon the panel at any given time of the day. This is better compared to the light-sensing method that may not be accurate always ??? for example, during cloudy days.

Now a days as a source of renewable energy solar energy is becoming very popular. When sun rays fall on Photovoltaic panel, Panel converts it in to electrical energy. As per basic principles of solar photovoltaic cells maximum electrical energy is generated when rays collide panel in perpendicular direction.
If we mount solar panel at single angle & position we will be unable to utilize 100% solar energy. To achieve the above target we need to rotate solar panel as sun moves from east to west.

In this project, LDR???s are working as light detectors. Before we go into detail, we will have to understand how the LDR???s work. LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) also known as photo resistor is the light sensitive device. Its resistance decrease when the light falls on it and that???s why it is frequently used in Dark or Light Detector Circuit. Check the various circuits based on LDR here.

The main objective of the project is to control the robotic vehicle in a desired position, through user voice commands by attaching a speech-recognition module as Bluetooth to the microcontroller for communication.
