The main objective of this project is to provide priority wise power supply to a load, by selecting the supply source from any available one out of 4 such as: mains, generator, inverter and solar in the absence of power supply. The demand for electricity is increasing every day and frequent power cut is causing many problems in various areas like industries, hospitals and houses. An alternative arrangement for power source is thus desirable.

Description

The main objective of this project is to provide uninterrupted power supply to a load, by selecting the various voltage supply. The demand for electricity is increasing every day and frequent power cut is causing many problems in various areas like industries, hospitals and houses. An alternative arrangement for power source is thus desirable.

In this project we are using Arduino UNO, LCD display, load, switches and DC power supply. This project employs according to the voltage supply.  When we providing 12v power to the kit then the all five loads gets ON. When the voltage gets down below threshold voltage

i.e. 10v then buzzer will beep. When given voltage is ranging from 11v to 11.5v then three lodes gets ON and two loads are OFF. When the voltage is in between 11v- 10.5v then only two loads gets ON and remaining loads are OFF. Same way when the voltage is ranging in between 10v-10.5v then only on load gets ON remaining all loads get OFF. Each voltage status is displayed on LCD. Loads are connected to the Arduino Uno as output.

An Arduino of the UNO family is used. The output of the Arduino is given to the loads, which operates according to voltage supply to maintain supply to the load. Output is observed using a load led’s and from LCD.  On the failure of supply or below threshold level i.e. 10v then the loads gets OFF buzzer starts beeping. The voltage status, like which voltage source is supplying power to the load is also displayed on an LCD. However 12v dc supply if available they can be used for all the loads.

Note

Priority based supply selection system is the project of last year’s engineering project, BE final year engineering project. This project is used for BE last year electrical department students is used. This project is priority supply based project. This project is use for the school level students.

Priority based supply selection system .it is a very comparative engineering project and electrical project. It is a very good BE electrical final year and diploma final year electrical based project.it is project for  arduinobased project idea for the electrical projects is an embedded based project.

The engineering projects give in the ELECTROSAL HI- TECH PVT.LTD. The best place for the degree and diploma final year engineering projects as well as for electrical students’ final year for the golden opportunity.

Priority based supply selection is an easy project and idea for the electrical degree and diploma base students & 100% output is done.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The main objective of this project is to provide priority wise power supply to a load, by selecting the supply source from any available one out of 4 such as: mains, generator, inverter and solar in the absence of power supply.
  • The demand for electricity is increasing every day and frequent power cut is causing many problems in various areas like industries, hospitals and houses.
  • When any of the switches is pressed, it shows the respective supply source is available.
  • The output of the arduino board is given to the relay driver IC, which switches appropriate relay to maintain priority base supply to the load.
  • If any of the two supply sources working at a time then the priority always goes the respective first one./li>
