Generally, in security systems, PIR sensor is used, but these methods are costly. This project explains about IR transmitter and receiver based security system instead of PIR. The main principle of this project is to provide security. This saves the power and is low cost. This project consists the IR transmitter, receiver, transistor and buzzer. At transmitter section transmitter transmits the infrared rays and at the receiver section receiver receives these rays, when any human body comes in between these rays receiver detects and sends the signal to the transistor which makes the buzzer to alarm.
