Description

The main goal of this project is to develop a robotic vehicle which is used to find and fight fire remotely through RF application in an event of any major fire hazard particularly in industries.

Major fire accidents do occur in industries like nuclear power plants, petroleum refineries, gas tanks, chemical factories and other large-scale fire industries resulting in quite serious on sequences. Thousands of people have lost their lives in such mishaps. Therefore, this project is enhanced to control fire through a robotic vehicle by using an RF Remote control application.

The proposed system works with an 8051 family microcontroller and a battery for power supply. In this system, a RF receiver is interfaced to the microcontroller for communication. Three motors are interfaced to the microcontroller through a motor-driver IC, wherein two motors are used to change the directions of the vehicle and the another one to control the water jet of the robot. The water pump is connected to the relay contacts for sprinkling water.

The robotic vehicle is loaded with a water tanker and the pump is remotely controlled by the RF transmittor device. Once a communication is established from the user RF remote to this system through RF Receiver, a user can enter the commands on the RF remote through control the directions of the robot, such as forward, backward, lift and right.

In future the scope of this project can be augmented by interfacing it with a wireless camera so that the person who control sit can remotely view the operation of the robot on a screen.

Note add

RF remote control fire fighting robot using microcontroller for the good price for the engineering projects. It is very comparative engineering project. High technology, often abbreviated to high tech (adjective forms high-technology, high-tech or hi-tech) is technologythat is at the cutting edge: the most advanced technology available.[1] The opposite of high tech is low technology, referring to simple, often traditional or mechanical technology; for example, a slide rule is a low-tech calculating device.
