Description

Red Light Emitting Diodes (LED) replaces HID lamps in street lighting system to include dimming feature. A Arduino is used to control the intensity by developing pulse width modulated signals that drives a MOSFET to switch the LEDs according to achieve desired operation.

In the present system, mostly the lightning up of highways is done through High Intensity Discharge lamps (HID), whose energy consumption is high. Its intensity cannot be controlled according to the requirement so there is a need to switch on to an alternative method of lightning system i.e., by using LEDs. This system is build to overcome the present day drawbacks of HID lamps. This system demonstrates the usage of the LED’s (light emitting diodes) as the light source and its variable intensity control, according to the requirement. LED’s consume less power and its life time is more, as compared to the conventional HID lamps. The more important and interesting feature is its intensity can be controlled according to the requirement during non peak hours which is not feasible in HID lamps.

A cluster of LEDs are used to form a street light. An arduino contains programmable instructions which controls the intensity of lights based on the PWM (Pulse width modulation) signals generated. The intensity of lights are kept high during the dark , as the morning on the roads tend to decrease slowly, the intensity also decreases progressively till morning. Final it completely shuts down at morning 6, and again resumes at 6pm in the evening. The process is repeated.

This concept in future can be enhanced by integrating it with the solar panel, which converts the solar intensity into corresponding voltage, and this energy is used to feed up the highway lights.

A Touch Dimmer Switch Circuit is a simple project, where the dimmer action is achieved with the help of a Touch Sensor. While a regular switch is used to simply turn ON or OFF a light, a Dimmer (or Dimmer Switch) will allow us to control the brightness of the light. Without a Dimmer Switch, the light bulbs tend to glow at full brightness consuming maximum power. If full brightness is not required, then Dimmer Switches can be used and save some energy. With the help of a Dimmer Switch, we can vary the brightness from fully off to fully on.

Different light bulbs need different dimmer switches and there are different types of Dimmer Switches available in the market. Some of the commonly found Dimmer Switches are Slider type and rotary type.

In this project, we have designed a Touch Dimmer Switch using Arduino.

The main focus of this project is to construct a system such that it deletes the human effort completely. The project is based on touch sensor which will be the main focus of our project the touch sensor touch the first time to on the led and10 times to touch the sensor the on the led 11 times to touch the sensor off the led matrix

Note

Touch sensor base dimmer is the project of last year’s engineering projects, BE final year engineering project. This project is used for the BE last year’s core Electronics department students. This project is used for the Electrical department students. This project is used for the core electrical department students is use. This project is arduino at mega 328 based projects.

Touch sensor base dimmer the project of a good price for the engineering projects. It is a very comparative engineering project. It is a very good BE final year project. It is a project for core electronics based project. This project is sensor based project.

The engineering projects give in the ELECTROSAL HI- TECH PVT.LTD. The best place for the degree final year engineering projects as well as for core Electronics, Electrical and electronics student’s final year for the golden opportunity.

Touch sensor base dimmer is easy project and idea for the core electronics and electrical and electronics base students and 100% output is done.
