This project is designed to monitor the green house using Comparator IC. Various sensors are used to monitor the system. The sensors used are Rain sensor, Soil moisture sensor, LDR, wired security sensor, water level indicator, IR sensor. When the soil of the green house becomes dry the pump will turn on through which the water is let into the soil and the soil regains its moisture. While supplying the water to the dry soil the water level in tank will be reducing simultaneously which will be indicated by the LED’s.
So when the water level reduces below the threshold level the pump will off automatically to avoid dry run.

Description

This project is designed to monitor the green house using Comparator IC. Various sensors are used to monitor the system. The sensors used are Rain sensor, Soil moisture sensor, LDR, wired security sensor, water level indicator, IR sensor. When the soil of the green house becomes dry the pump will turn on through which the water is let into the soil and the soil regains its moisture. While supplying the water to the dry soil the water level in tank will be reducing simultaneously which will be indicated by the LED’s.
So when the water level reduces below the threshold level the pump will off automatically to avoid dry run.

During day time when someone tries to enter into system without permission the wire security placed near the gate will be sensed . When the wire is break then the buzzer starts beeping and the pump will turn on and extinguishes the fire. When the temperature of the green house increases the fan turns on and brings down the temperature and to normal condition.
LDR will be continuously sensing the light intensity, during night time the light intensity will fall. So the lamp will turn on during night time when someone tries to enter into the system without permission. The IR sensor placed near the gate will be sensed. Whenever it is raining it is detected by the rain sensor and the buzzer beeps as an alert system.
